Nestlé Ghana Limited continues to reward hardwork and excellence from its business partners, especially distributors of its products nationwide.
The company yesterday presented four commercial trucks to the topmost national distributors in recognition of their dedication and contribution to the business.
The trucks went to Kofi Gyimah Enterprises Limited which company was the 2022 Best Distributor, then to Danmaud Company Limited, Benbetty Company Limited and Sonturk Company Limited.
At a brief ceremony to reward the distributors, Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana Limited , Mr Georgios Badaro thanked the distributors for their contribution to the business, saying, “thank you for your continuous partnership and contribution to Nestlé throughout the years. “
“We fully understand the current economic challenges and its resultant impact on our business in terms of drop in volumes, cash flow, high cost of borrowing among others but we are committed to working together with you to overcome these,” he stated, saying he was confident that with resilience and strong partnership, Nestlé and its distributors will continue to grow their businesses.”
The MD said it was usual for Nestle to take stock, celebrate its achievements and reward those who had gone the extra mile to achieve key performance indicators.
“We have gone round the country and presented various awards to our business partners,” Mr Badaro said.
Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Manager at Nestle hailed the importance the company attaches to rewarding it’s partners.
“When you go out of Accra, it is our business partners who represent us, so you go to an outlet where there is distribution it’s very likely it’s a Nestle distributor and for us at Nestle, we share everything with our business partners because they make the business thrive,”
Madam Kwablah gave the assurance that the company will sustain the reward system for its partners, irrespective of the challenging times industry may find itself, adding “when you make modest gains, you celebrate those gains and it is through celebration and recognition that you urge people on to continue to achieve more.”
According to her, “looking at the year 2022, our distributors have done a lot of good work and are deserving of the rewards we have given to them.”
Other deserving distributors across the country had earlier been recognized for their performance in categories such as Brand Champion Award , Consistency Award , Highest Turnover Award, Growth Award and Best Distributor Award.
